from as early as I can remember, I’ve been infatuated with all things in the kitchen (except doing the dishes). I would help my Grandpa with making the perfect dressing for the salad or the glaze that glistened and draped over the Christmas ham. I have cherished memories with my aunt layering raspberry jam and vanilla frosting between two perfectly sponge round cakes for the most decadent double layer birthday cakes we were lucky enough to be surprised with. I’ve always been (and still am) eager to learn the science behind why certain ingredients go together better than others. or why the order of certain ingredients being added makes such a difference of the outcome. I have a food science book explaining these scientific reasonings of how certain ingredients react with others or the best way to season a cast iron pan, admittedly I own 3 and haven’t worked on seasoning any of them. nonetheless it’s fascinating to read about.
but in this chapter of my journey, I am beyond grateful and humbled to be sharing it with all of you. this is the farthest I’ve personally gotten with any business venture and your appreciation and love for my products are the driving factor. I truly don’t know what combination words would equate to my appreciation to all of you who have and continue to support me in so many ways as I create a career out of my passion. with gratitude and excitement, I will be doing the best I can to share, create, and teach for as long as I can.
